Yes I drive past it every day, and you're absolutely right it looks like a movie theater must be on the way to Ritchie-Marlboro.

That would be a fairly medium size/small Walmart. Obviously couldn't be a super center.

Also in other news, we know Nordstrom Rack is going up at WTC, and I've also heard Kobe's is leaving the BLVD for there. Any other confirmation of new retail components going up? There seems to be a good amount of dirt being moved and that place is really filling in nicely.

That building is continuing to take shape, but I still don't see any signage or hint as to what it will be. Definitely too small to be a Walmart IMO. I've heard movie theater, and it does have that type of appearance from the exterior, but otherwise not sure at all what it would be. There doesn't seem to be a big loading dock in the rear either.

Also that town home development that is supposed to be adjecent to Central Ave and Largo Center Dr, finally has movement on what looks to be at least the sewage and drainage install.

Almost positive it's a walmart. Again I'm a vendor in the area. Now that isn't my particular territory but I know the guy who does serve that area and have is being told a walmart is coming

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it is definitely not a Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart doesn't choose a space and start construction with the only thing to go on is rumors about the project. There would have definitely been town meetings and a LOT of press, especially on the small form-factor of this supposed Wal-Mart. Building small suburban stores is not part of Wal-Mart's model. They even balked at the smaller urban formats DC forced them to build. So, this definitely would have been on the media's radar. Wal-Mart doesn't sneak into a neighborhood unnoticed.

Prince George's County would have definitely been touting the new Wal-Mart. But mention of it is no where to be found.

Also the new Wal-Mart's around the country do not have that design that I see on the front of the building at Ritchie-Marlboro. That arch in the front of the building isn't really a staple of there newer building designs anymore. And again the building, although dwarfing D&B in size, seems too small for Wal-Mart.

We shall see, you may be right.

Idk who else has been over to Woodmore, but there's a lot more pavement being laid, and new buildings have arose in the past month or so. I also saw a mini playground erected from the area that is still mostly dirt, looks like more residential is on the way.
