Hello, I'm moving to Hagerstown, MD, and I work in Arlington, VA. I heard you can catch a bus to Shady Grove and Me all the way into VA(Crystal City).

Can someone tell me exactly where you go to catch the bus? I'm moving close to the Premium outlets in the Westfield Development. Thank you

Not sure -- but it's called bus route #550 and is operated by MD transit administration. However, their website http://www.mta.maryland/gov makes the information extremely hard to find, as it's mostly all about Baltimore busses only. I have on other occasions, seen the page there, with complete printable schedules of all the Southern MD and Western MD commuter busses, but now I can't find it.

The train schedule from Frederick, MD to D.C. Union Station, is listed there under MARC.

If nothing else, call the Hagerstown public library in the morning, when they're less busy, and ask the reference librarian.

You are looking at a brutally long, complicated commute, and I hope you have to do it only on occasional days.

Thank you. I will, and only have to commute maybe 1 or 2 days out of the week. I'll call the library.

I just googled MTA Commuter Bus and came up with this. I think it answers your questions

The bus leaves from the Park & Ride right off of I-70, by the MVA and across from the Cracker Barrel. Right down the road from your house. I believe there are several that leave each morning, and they have a good bit of ridership.

Welcome to Hagerstown! Westfields is beautiful.
