Thinking of becoming a member of TPC Potomac. I already know all the costs associated with it, so not looking for any help there. Does anyone have any thoughts on the course, clubhouse, etc.

Also, looking at Bethesda Country Club.

My main priority in the course.

Thanks for any information

If you are a fan of all things golf - then I'd say TPC is a good choice. You get access to the other TPC courses, belonging to a course that will be a PGA tour stop again in 2021 (not sure if this is multi-year deal?), and be closely tied to the tour.

That said - strictly golf course speaking, Congressional (Blue) and Columbia have better layouts IMO (albeit not sure if the purple going through Columbia will have more impact in the future). I have never played BCC (have only been there for Tennis when I was a kid). And as a TPC course, I compare it more to Scottsdale in terms of layout interest. Neither is really noteworthy. Scottsdale is better known because of WM Open, but it's not exactly a course one raves about when visiting Scottsdale - especially with the number of courses out there. The practice facilities at TPC is top notch though.

You may already have asked/factored these things into your decision.

Personally - If I was still in the area - Columbia would be my top choice from a strictly golf perspective. But my perspective is limited to being a guest at these places.
