I’ve posted here before, but due to the pandemic and shifting move dates, job prospects are different now and we’re essentially starting over with move plans.
The gist is, we have a short term move (3-4 years) with one person commuting to Bolling, and I’m wondering how much of a headache it would be if the other person accepted a job at/near NASA Goddard. We have a young child, so need good elementary schools, but don’t care about middle or high school since we’ll move again before then. Are there decent living options in between without horrendous commutes? The other kicker is, the Bolling job ‘could’ shift to the Pentagon at some point, so ideally wouldn’t live ridiculously far from there either. Any advice on is welcome.
We have a large (old) dog, so SFH rental would be ideal, but we’re willing to live in a townhome or apartment if need be...he’s been a city dog before and did fine. TIA
