Hello everyone,

I will be moving to the D.C-Baltimore area within the coming months and I am looking for an area to live that would be close enough to Baltimore and close enough to Arlington. I have done a little bit of research and can tell that the two metro areas have horrendous traffic. I'm looking for an area that is halfway between both of these locations and allows for a commute of less than an hour for both my commute if I were to work in Arlington and my girlfriend's commute for university in Baltimore. I don't really have a budget on how much we are looking to spend per month on rental properties, however our biggest concerns are safety and a reasonable commute. Please let me know if this is even doable, thank you!

You can NOT expect to have it both ways.
For the day to day and best new job you NEED to live in VA as close to the JOB as you can afford.

For the Weekend you can run up to B'more and hang with her there or the reverse.
