Bethesda’s median income is lowest in district 1, but still higher than MoCo’s median. Based on 2019 figures, MoCo’s median household income is $110K. Median for district 1: Bethesda $164K, Chevy Chase $182K, Cabin John $182K, Potomac $196K, Glen Echo $212K, Travilah $241K.

Hardly surprising, since it's the most densely populated, and likely also the most populous by a long shot. Both factors tend to lower the median.
