Baltimore developer buys land for new multifamily project at Largo Town Center Metro

“ While project cost is a “moving target,” it's anticipated to weigh in at more than $100 million, Garland said. Construction on the nearly shovel-ready site is expected to begin in early 2023 and take about two years to complete, according to a press release.”

That rendering reminds me of the Greenbelt Metro development like 15 years ago they were trying to build. never got off the ground. Looks like the 80 year plan for Largo.

Speaking of grand plans. Wonder how Konterra is coming along.

The article literally said that construction starts 2023, and have a 2 year timetable for completion. The developer already paid $13M for the land, and the transaction completed just this month. It wouldn’t make sense to spend that much to let it sit there.

I was speaking of the entire buildout, not just 4 or 5 buildings.
