I recently learned that a new elementary school will be opening its doors in Bowie this Fall. It's called Northview. Has anyone heard about it? Any thoughts on the area it is in and whether it would be a good place for our 1st grader?

I think it would be a good place for 1st grader. I don't know much about the new school but I do know the area. It's a nice place to raise a family.

Overall all of the elementary in Bowie are excellent. Heather Ridge, Tulip Grove, Highbridge and Northview and the list goes on. I have lived in Bowie for 3 years and
was a Head Start vol at Chapel Forge. My daughter enjoyed the experience.
