We're considering living in Gaithersburg and wondering if anyone knows how difficult it is to get to Shady Grove from different parts of Gaithersburg or Germantown. Can you live in Gerrmantown and get to the Shady Grove Stop at 6 or 7 in the AM? Can you live in most parts of Gaithersburg and drive to Shady Grove in a decent amount of time? thanks for the reply

Where exactly are you refering to when you say Shady Grove? University? Hospital area? Some parts of "Shady Grove" are actually in Gaithersburg as far as I know.

Going to Shady Grove metro station isn't too bad in Gaithersburg in the AM. I don't know about Germantown, though.

Thanks, I was referring to the metro stop - i.e. getting to the metro stop from different parts of gaithersburg. I see some interesting homes that show a 20 minute drive to the Shady grove metro stop but I'm not sure that's accurate - don't really know what the congestion is like...I'm in the medwest so all I hear is DC traffic horror stories
