Hello!

My husband started working in DC last week and he's commuting 20 miles north of Baltimore....everday...and we have two small children....and I'm a SAHM. So, needless to say, we need to move soon. I'm also looking for a job and we LOVE the downtown Bethesda area but we're having a tough time finding a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment, with a gas stove, a washer/dryer in unit, that's spacious considering we're coming from a 4,000+ square foot house. I'd love to be in the Bethesda elementary school district in the event we don't purchase a home in the next year considering our oldest will start kindergarten next fall. Our price range is $3000 to $3500 including parking. First, are we asking for too much? If not, any suggestions in terms of housing, please give names of buildings.

Thanks in advance!

This looks nice, a lil over ur price range though. Luxury 4BR townhouse with elevator! (http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/apa/1365596135.html - broken link) call the agent listed, maybe the can help you. By reading the ad' that price looks negotiable...

There should be lots of single family homes in the $3000-$4000 range. Be careful with renting from a "reluctant landlord" which is what we call those who did not intend to be landlords because they were planning to sell for higher prices.
