The only poster here in denial is you. I am a resident here in Prince Georges and I love it here and plan on not moving out the county. You need to realize that many residents love living here so maybe you are in denial. When I do sell my home I am purchasing another beautiful home in Prince Georges county in a wonderful community.

And that is the point I was trying to drive home. To assume that PG residents need "enlightenment" or having the "truth" pushed on them in every PG-related thread is presumptuous, insulting and just plain ineffective.

Food for thought and those who think know what to do with data! So I trust you enjoyed the data and have put it to good use helping the thread intellectualize the topic.

And Bowie has a higher median income than Lorton, VA too...what's your point? Nobody ever said Fairfax City was considered upscale.

If you want to compare upscale Bowie in PG to upscale McLean/Great Falls in VA or Potomac/Bethesda in MC, then there's no comparison.

Bowie gets squashed.

It is funny though, how Bowie is considered upscale in PG, but the median home value in Bowie is around 400k.

Obviously you don't get it, so that's why you're living in PG.
