I say trash it because that's how that section of PG is in the first place. It didn't happen by itself.

Just look at the International Mall in Langley Park, or Suitland Mall... Originally there were really nice places. Then as local pedestrian traffic came in, people threw trash on the floor, kids tagged the walls and spray painted the outside.

When you sat the Suitland Mall do you mean the Centre at Forestville?

I believe it was called Forestvillage Park Mall before the new ownership. I've never heard of Suitland Mall.

Is International Mall in Prince George's County? Someone in the office just told me it's located in Bethesda.

International Mall is on University Blvd in Langley Park. It is between Riggs Road and New Hampshire.

lilibilu, I think you're right... I always called it Suitland Mall. I admit it's been at least 4 years since I went back, the last time just wasn't pretty so I never looked back.

The international mall is on University Blvd in Langley Park.

I came across the Wilson bridge this evening and saw the Harbor at night for the first time - it was all lit up. It's quite a sight already and it's not even finished. I anxiously await the announcements of which retailers will be moving in next year. I did hear the Children's Museum will be relocating there.

Time seems to be passing by so quickly. I looked at the progress photos and was surprised by how far along they are. Then I realized that it's almost December and the Harbor will open in a few months. It will be interesting to see which retailers take up residence at the Harbor. The summer concert series sounds like a great idea as well.

A link to the progress photos.

The last time I walked through the mall it looked good. It was clean and mall looked to be updated. Maybe ownership and management were a problem in the past.

"I say trash it because that's how that section of PG is in the first place. It didn't happen by itself."

Is it really that easy for you to make a blanket statement about an entire area/community?
