We are relocating to Calvert County Maryland from Northeastern Pennsylvania July 1st. Hubby's job is moving us. Does anyone have information on daycare services, we have a toddler and I will need services so I can attend job interviews etc. Any assistance is graciously welcomed!!

Since my daughter is graduating from high school next week, I haven't had to worry about day care for quite some time. I know there are a lot of private home day care facilities. We used one in Owings which has grown tremendously. Called Prime Time, it is located in a couple of buildings just off rt 260 on the way to the beaches. Not sure how it operates now (on an as needed basis, or with a lengthy committment). Anyway, there should be quite a few day care providers spread throughout the county (lots of 2 income families). I think your best bet is to get a bit settled first and then ask some neighbors and other folks you get to know about day care in your part of the county. Good luck, hope you find the right place for your needs.
