Any chance the guy getting beat to a pulp at the gas pump was gang affiliated? I can imagine them doing that, but I have never (not that it doesn't happen) heard about MS-13 attacking random people, for no reason, other than just to do it

Maybe if it is a street robbery/mugging (that doesn't even have to be gang afiliated, could just be a stick up kid), but just walking up to you in line at Starbucks and 6 of them jumping you, because you have a certain color scarf on, nahhh

Besides, the high ranking members have but all been given long RICO sentences, or are currently under indictments of some sort. If someone is still out here claiming MS-13, they are not of the same caliber of gang member who gave them a bad reputation in the first place (the political kidnappings, beheadings, drive-by's, etc)

Sure, there's a chance, but out in the open like that? I mean, I don't know, I don't care what the person did, it could have easily been that me and my kids were at the other pump, if you know what I mean?

They are also very well known for killing/attacking people who "see" things and report them.

Then you need to attend the school system meetings on gang infiltration of the schools that I do. MS-13 is the center of discussion.

I live in the Hyattsville/ Riverdale area, aside from some spray paint here and there, they aren't striking fear into the community. I'm certain they are a fearsome group, they just haven't shown their teeth in the area yet.

I don't know about MS-13, but Hispanics are spread all throughout the area. The area of highest concentration would be Langley Park Hyattsville in Prince George's/Montgomery and neighboring areas in Silver Spring (Piney Branch, Long Branch), Adelphi, and generally along University and New Hampshire Blvds.
