Anyone know much of these bands? Sounds like they could be more in Arlington as well? But Metro DC nonetheless.
Yes I know most of the bands mentioned. A good way to hear these types of indie bands for free is to attend the Fort Reno concert series. The schedule is not posted yet, but the first show will be on 6/27 and run every Monday & Thurs through summer.

Other venues to hear this type of music are the Black Cat, Velvet Lounge, Galaxy Hut (in Arlington). Rock N Roll Hotel to name a few.
