Heard it on NPR this morning. It was like "good news, economy is improving. How do we know? Divorce rate is increasing! Financial advisors warn rich people to not get a divorce until your business gets better, because otherwise, your wife will take the entire house, because your business isn't making enough money...".

Not exact words, but that's what they said.

so, who's getting divorced?

Not sure what that has to do with DC but from my understanding DC has the lowest marriage rate in the country (of course this is amongst other states so hard to do a real comparison). Also according to wikipedia Arlington has a pretty high rate of singles as well at 72% which might be the rate in the District as well.

I think some people are too quick to throw in the towel these days when it comes to divorce.

Throw in that some people should not be married in the first place.
