he's a tool for the American Federation of Teachers, who gave his campaign a million bucks in order to get rid of Michelle Rhee, who committed the crime of raising test scores

he's not qualified and has no idea what he's doing

I must say that Gray lost my support when he got rid of Michelle Rhee. She was the best thing that had happened to DC in a long time.

Its hard to feel sorry for the citizens of DC since they elected him. I live in the City and the choices for Mayor were pretty crummy last election. Truthfully, I didnt even vote..what was the point? I disliked both candidates. They both had too slick of an agenda...and it has all come out lately. I gotta say, though, watching the scandal after scandal is at least amusing. Or would be amusing if it werent so sad.

Vincent Gray is the last gasp of a Black political machine that rose to prominence on protest and victimhood.

I think it was pretty clear during the campaign that Rhee would be out if Gray won.

I think a more apt question is: Why does DC keep electing politicians such as Barry and Gray who are obsessed with race? I have zero sympathy for DC parents after Rhee was canned. You reap for what you sow.

When did Vincent Gray say anything about race? Also Rhee wasn't elected. While she was appointed by Fenty she wasn't elected by the people of DC. So maybe people voted for Gray for other reasons. I don't live in DC so don't really know much about him.

No one said a darn thing about race until you started in with the "race politics" nonsense.
