No cupcake is worth any hype. It's a cupcake! Although I have had a couple and they are good, but not worth the time or money

Tourist Trap. You can get the same quality cupcake at any coffeeshop at 1/2 the price and 1/10 the wait
.

If you are able to walk in and get one without waiting in that horrible line then it's a nice treat. However, the hype is way overdone. It's a solid treat like I said, but don't wait all day for one.

The best times to get one are a little before lunchtime, or when it's raining (or snowing). Winter usually has a pretty nice variety of x-mas inspired flavors.

The Bethesda one usually has less of a line. Good cupcakes but not worth the mobs at the Georgetown location. If you find yourself in Georgetown wanting a cupcake, go East on M Street and then down Thomas Jefferson Street to Baked & Wired. Better cupcakes, better coffee.

Agree with the previous poster on the Bethesda location. I LOVE Georgetown cupcakes, but I'm not a fan of waiting in line for over 30 minutes. Order in advance for pickup or head to Bethesda. In and out in less than 10 minutes there. Salted Caramel is a must try in my opinion!
