Greetings all!
Can anyone kindly share their experience living in any of the following areas - Tivoli Square/Columbia Heights and Capitol Hill? I've only been in the Tivoli Square/Columbia Heights area twice and it reminds me of a mixture between parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Parts of Capitol Hill around Pennsylvania Ave and 8th St remind me of Manhattan as well. Has anyone lived in these areas before? Thanks.

I've lived in the area all my life, and I don't see the Brooklyn comparisons. It's come along in the last 5 years or so,housing prices are still about $100K more than it should be, but it is what it is. Probably one of the better areas to live in considering you have a mall, metro, and dining all in walking distance.
