Disrespect? Enh. Shoulder shrug. I've never heard of this group. Despite the large amount of time I spend in the District I dont live there and I spend time in Dupont, Capitol Hill, Chinatown, U street not Trinidad. So this isnt my world. At the same time I grew up in a rough area I know about the homo thug types and I know about the ready to cut someone types. Some of them are nice guys and gals once you sit and talk with them.
On one hand I applaud not taking any gruff from dimwitted so and sos. I don't applaud the gang association. I certainly can't applaud a grown man that doesn't have his GED making excuses.
I think he meant the gay community not the "mean" streets of Arlington.
