Depending on where you live and the amount of free time you have, one way could be working part-time or volunteering on one of the bases.

And there's a group of Marines stationed at the 8th and I barracks.

And those Marines at the Barracks often hang out at the Ugly Mug, a bar on 8th St SE.

There are loads of them in the area. I would say restaurants around military bases, college park, or any bar zones in general.

Are you asking to get benefits?

They seem to gravitate toward the 'burbs. I have worked for the military with tons of active duty men (and women) and found that they tend to live far away from DC and commute. If you are looking for the young ones who still live on base in barracks, I would try a trip to Quantico. Try a Saturday at Pentagon City or a Sat night in Georgetown where they tend to collect in groups.

Most likely in the strip bars, throwing $1.00 bills at some fine trailer park whiskey tango.

Assuming you're in DC itself, why not volunteer with the USO of Metropolitan Washington USO, or at least go there to ask about volunteering and say, by the way, where do servicemen hang out? Of course, they also hang out where everyone else does, in churches, at sports events, in running groups, at gyms, etc., etc. There are several Hash House Harrier groups (running/walkin/beer drinking) groups in the area (all but one are co-ed). I think this one OVER-THE-HUMP-HASH HOUSE HARRIERS is based near Quantico so may attract Marines.

A lot of guys on Pentagon assignments hang out at the hotel bars in Crystal City and the bars and pubs on 23rd Street in Crystal City.

If you are male seeking military guys, try Freddies Beach Bar in Crystal City.
