Have a date on Saturday, she loves seafood so I'm going to give it a go. I do eat seafood by the way but I can't do calamari. Anyway, one friend recommended McCormick and Schmick's and another recommended Legal Seafood in Chinatown. Thinking of going with the latter based on the reviews I read online, but any other suggestions would be cool too.

Mind you it doesn't have to be primarily a seafood place.

Oceanaire is the best in my opinion. Pricey, but worth it if you feel like doing something special.

Drive to Annapolis. Eat downtown. Harrison's is a good date place and decent seafood.

In town, Legal Seafood or McCormick & Schmick's are good. Christfield's has slipped badly.

That's a personal judgement call, but they have the best sea food. Two people with wine will probably run you $150.

She lives in Silver Spring and I live in DC. There's no way I'm taking 50 on a Saturday night just for seafood.

My boys are also saying something to the effect of keeping it low key and not ball out on the first date. I don't know. We'll see...Legal Seafood is still my top choice. Reasonably priced and its kind in between where we live so yeah...

Legal Seafood is a good choice. That's a place that's nice, but you can still step up from there. She won't think you're cheap, but you won't break the bank.

There's this place called Hot N Juicy Crawfish right off the Woodley Park metro. Boiled crawfish cajun style. I think that would be a great fun first date to just get dirty, put a bib on, and eat with your hands.

Go to where you like to eat seafood. After all, you're paying for it, right? She's just along for the ride.

Depends upon how much you want to impress the woman. If she knows seafood she will recognize that a 45 minute trip to Annapolis is worth the time. If she's a dog, buy her a McFish sandwich and be done with it.
