A male friend who actually likes girls came to town for a visit. He said that the women in DC were far more attractive than Columbus, GA. So there.

Not that need said friend to validate my opinions. I can tell if a girl is hot or not. Shucks even girls can tell if a girl is hot or not. I don't have a problem with going around saying that girl is hot along with other explicit remarks. That's fun. We're men that is what we do no matter the orientation. As men we are very visual creatures. That's why we are more likely to watch pornography than women. So nothing wrong with that. Although judging people and calling them ugly is WRONG.
It's not wrong to call anyone ugly, as you said, men are visual creatures. It's not right or wrong that straight men like pretty girls, it's just how it is. Maybe the women in DC are better than a podunk place like Columbus, GA but they are far from being on average attractive. Good for you that could care less about how the men you date look but most people do care.

It is shameful that girls in DC are pale, homely, dressed dowdily and unmadeup. Women should take pride in their appearance and if they don't do so, they have every right to be criticized. You wouldn't know but women are way better looking in most American metro areas like NYC, LA. Miami, Dallas etc. Women who move here are busted looking well educated politicos or professionals. I pretty much never see women wearing tight sexy revealing outfits outside the gym. It's depressing for single men to see mostly fugly girls. This town is no better than a gigantic coal mining town, people come here to work and nothing else.

Dallas is probably the major exception to the American rule.

But, what makes LA, Miami, and NYC interesting is not the way that the American women dress and look, it's their International element. Americans are generally just very poorly dressed people. People outside of the US are not, and when they come to the U.S., they bring their fashion/look/viewpoints on appearance with them.

DC's probably not that far behind those cities, but definitely behind them. But if you were to compare DC to cities like Omaha, Cleveland, Boston, etc., you'll find that DC does dress and look much better.

The only place to find women dressed in tight sexy revealing outfits throughout the entire country, is probably only going to be a few cities. Probably only Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego perhaps, Las Vegas definitely, possibly Dallas (although I don't know Dallas myself), and that's about it. I seldom see that ever in northern climates. I didn't even really see that in NYC. It's not solely because of the weather, I think northern american women also have issues about being objectified, which make them dress down quite a bit, as well. In short, if you're not seeing what you like in DC, you won't see it get better throughout most of the rest of 'regular' America either.

i cant really speak for the appearance of white women during afterhours and nightlife cuz im rarely in those type establishments but during the day i c plenty of attractive white women in their work attire downtown.. they may not look as glamerous as LA, Miami, & NYC but like tiger beer stated most cities arnt on thier level.. DC is comparable to any other major city imo

Or perhaps she has enough pride and confidence to attract men in her regular, minimalist appearance so as not to dress up like a worn-out video vixen and ruin her natural look with enough makeup to re-paint the Sistine Chapel. I'll take the next-door neighbor look any day of the week.

I second this statement. Miami is hot, like damn hot. I am a guy and I found myself wearing a lot less clothes when I lived there (think tank-tops and flip-flops) its only natural that girls wear less and are more tanned. The other effect that I noticed was when anyone is forced to show there bodies off, without a 5 month fall/winter hiding period, the pressure to keep your body right is way higher. Now add that in with the pressure of naturally beautiful Cuban, Brazilian, and Columbian (ask the Secret Service) women of course the white women there are more beautiful. In LA, things are the same and in NYC they are more fashionable but PERCENTAGE-wise not any better than DC. DC looks good, it's greater than or equal to just about all the other large metros.

It is wrong. Its rude. I mean am I the only one that has ever heard of manners? Am I alone in regards to having morals and values?

This is my last argument on a rather inane issue.

And I don't need any back handed comments. You've probably never even heard of Columbus let alone been there so watch where you call podunk. You certainly haven't seen who's been in MY bed, so yeah just watch what you say when it comes to me and mine.

Eesh.

I guess you have a point about the lack of "made-up" women in the District. A lot of us prefer to be au natural. It's a comfort factor but I think you'll end up with a higher quality woman overall because she's less likely to have image issues. The ones that can't go to the grocery store without liberally applying makeup are probably the ones that are going to have a serious midlife crisis later on down the line and leave her husband for some fit 20-something construction worker.

I personally don't wear makeup, have lived in SD, SF/OAK and DC and had no problems getting play. Am I a nerd? Absolutely. Do I have social skills? Nope. Have I ever gone without a good looking man UNWILLINGLY? Hell no. =)

Sidebar, I know of a lot of hot, white Non Profit sector single chicks that live/party in the NoVA area. Maybe move your hunting grounds there?

maybe there are some psychoactive drugs in the water that make men in DC think every woman looks like a troll

Huh? Men are visual creatures. We don't want to go out and see girls wearing NO makeup and flats. Nightlife is supposed to be a PARTY. You should dress with style and class. A lot of the girls i see out in DC put little effort into the way they look. This ofcourse is disturbing to men.
