NBC news at 4 everyday shows live video of what the trees look like. I've been following the news to find out what they look like every day because I'm planning on seeing them. So far, there is one tree that has blossomed. I think by next week they'll be out, if not by the weekend, since the "indicator tree" is already blossomed.
i was in dc today and there are like a total of 3 trees in bloom. many trees with buds which i think will probably bloom this weekend.
it was a chilly morning but then the temps warmed up to about 50 degrees. cloudless sky and just a beautiful day!
really wanted to see the cherry blossoms and since there were none in bloom we hung at dupont circle, had a nice lunch at circa and went back to smithsonian station and went to a couple of gardens.
