That's what they call them up north. Shall we also start calling liquor stores "package stores" as well? Nothing wrong with that.

But up north, the carry-outs don't carry mambo sauce, and that was problematic for me when I was living in Hartford and wanted some fried wings.

Ha, yeah, always been bodega to me. "Corner store" reminds me of people from the Midwest saying "pop" instead of "soda".
