A new low for WMATA, a shooting ON A metro train. Looks like they were teens. Of course, we can't say if they were riding via Mayor Bowser's free pass program or not. Many ghetto youths are exceptional, but dire and durable circumstances, have made their existence dangerous and deplorable. I'm not going to bang on them, because, many of these problems - adults have created for them, and they are trying to DO the best they can.
I feel somewhat sorry for DC's ghetto black youth for way too many reasons to explain. We can argue night and day about what has been taking place with black youth for over the last 30 years in respect to their development, civility and sanity.
Americans, especially white Americans, really don't have any regard for other's children besides their own (or the token Asian and Black children they adopt and parade around like new pairs of shoes).

The biggest problem is people having kids who should never be parents. Trash people raise trash kids.
People who cannot even take care of themselves should not be getting pregnant or impregnating others.

I will say one thing that I've noticed riding the metro.
The infrastructure looks like ****. It's pretty much old 1970's looking underground. The electronic signage needs update, the cars are old. They just rolled off the 7000s series trains, but I don't really see them replacing every single train.
