Hi,

I have an important appointment at children's hospital 111 Michigan avenue NW Washington DC 20010.

I live in Rockville MD I should arrive by 8:30.
At what time do you think I should leave? I planned to leave at 6.30 with normal traffic it takes 37 minutes.

My appointment is in couple of weeks but I'm worried I can't be late. I will travel with my children and my child needs a good night sleep and a good breakfast for the testing.

I thought about leaving early but not too early to have a breakfast at the hospital cafetaria.

If you leave by 6:30 you will be there on time. You'll probably be early, depending on the route you take to get there. The traffic gets worse around 7, so maybe 6:30 is a good idea for such an important appointment. I wonder if you know the way? I would use 495 to Georgia Ave to Blair rd to N. Capitol st. and turn right on Michigan.

Right 270 to 495 to Georgia to Blair to N Capitol and right on Michigan has always been the best route to me. It's probably better to follow the GPS though.
