As a nice but not super upscale restaurant to have an enjoyable dinner?

Yelp seems to love it, and the menu looks good.

I like farmers, fishers, bakers. I occasionally go for huge buffet brunch but I've been for dinner a couple of times too. Food is great, service hit or miss. I like getting a seat by the window and you can look at the waterfront and see the ice skaters at the outdoor rink right outside. It's not what I would call romantic though, if that's what you're looking for on V Day.

Nah, we don't need "romantic". Just good food, a nice location, and not too much pretentiousness. Oh, and seafood focused.

Farmers, Fishers, Bakers is good, and I think would fit what you're looking for (that and Founding Farmers are our go-to's for when we want a nicer, but not super fancy, meal). The cocktails are pretty good, as well, if you drink.

If you like seafood you might want to check out Le Diplomate. It's not overly pretentious and has some good fish dishes. The seafood tower is also really good (and large, I split the smaller one at their sister restaurant in Philadelphia with 4 other people as an "appetizer" and we weren't really hungry for anything else).

I saw Le Diplomate, and I considered that. The biggest draw for FFM for me, is that we live in Arlington, so it wouldn't be a long drive/uber ride, but I've got time to alter my reservation if need be.

They're both really good choices, just a thought for when you want another night out. Have fun!
