I'm not an engineer, but my boyfriend has been working as an electrical engineer for a while.. He took the PE Exam I believe a couple years ago and did not pass. He's been thinking about taking the PE Exam again, which I think would help his career a lot. Last time I believe he studied on his own. However, I believe some kind of structured program would be better (especially since he's been out of school for a while). Do you have any recommendations for a local prep course. If not, maybe an online course?
I took the exam years ago so my information is dated, but the Army Corp of Engineers had a self paced review program back then that you could buy. A local university with an undergraduate engineering program will almost certainly have exam review programs as most engineers are encouraged to take the exam right around the time they graduate.
