Hello,
Are there any Korean Markets in the Foggy Bottom area?
Not really. I thought there was / used to be one around 21st and G (combination take out place) but I haven't been by in awhile. There is a Chinese pharmacy in Chinatown on 7th Street across from Fado's (next to the place that sells swords and kung fu gear) that has some groceries in the back, but no real produce.
Your best bet is the suburbs. Super H in Fairfax is the crown jewel of the Korean places. Zillions down by Annandale (little Korean) as well. Great Wall is a big Chinese place out by 50 and the Beltway. Saigon East in Baileys Corner will have Vietnamese stuff.
There are also bunch of Grand Marts and Hahn ah Rehm(sic?) as well if you check their websites.
The Han a Rheum in Falls Church (Dunn Loring) is a zoo, it's really small and crowded. I prefered the one out in Fairfax it was bigger cleaner and easier to get your groceries.
There's some similar location type places on the Maryland side too, one up on Viers Mill Rd in Wheaton (name escapes me).
Yep, that one. Wheaton, Silver Spring, whatever. The Unique Thrift proclaims itself in Silver Spring, but maybe its Wheaton.
