Hello...my husband works at Fort Myer/ Arlington Cemetary, and we need to move closer to that area. We can only afford to rent in Lorton or Chantilly. So, my question is, does anyone know what the commute from Lorton to the Arlington Cemetary would be like? I think I would rather move to Lorton than to Chantilly since it would be a closer distance. I just need to know what the actual commute time would be. Thanks in advance for any input!

Well, I-95 and I-395 can get incredibly backed up based on weather, accidents, and who knows what, so commuting times could fluctuate wildly on a daily basis, but I would say that this commute will run approximately 45-60 minutes each way on most days. During non-rush hour traffic, you can actually make it there in a little bit over 20 minutes.
