This is for everybody who is wondering what neighborhoods are safe to move into. you cant always tell from word of mouth or walking through the neighborhood. ...some are suprisingly dangerous...like they suprised me and i was born and raised in d.c (h street to be exact)

Yeah, very surprising (but it kinda makes sense that some of the densest areas are the most dangerous, because they provide the most possible victims). I guess I'll be more careful in East Downtown (though I think that cluster is skewed a bit by the inclusion of the convention center area, which has always instinctively creeped me out). I know this is an old post, but the link is still updated and helpful, so thanks.
Click the state you want, then the county from the list, then the area. At the top right under the blog heading you pick view area info. If there is more than one zip code you choose at the top of the resulting listing.
Is there no DC zip code where crime rates are below double the national average?
try the tenly town zip code....or georgetown...
