Okay so I recently moved into the on campus apartments near UWT. But there's absolutely nothing around that stays open past 12 on the weekends or weekday near UWT. The Swiss Pub closes super early and I can't find any clubs or bars downtown either. What's a college girl with no car to do?

Head to the northern part of downtown.

Around 9th and Pacific Ave. you have Big Whisky Saloon, Matador, Surreal Ultra Lounge, The Firwood, Meconi's, The Office, Hell's Kitchen, Dorky's Barcade and Encore Nightclub (opening soon).

Around 7th and St Helens you have The Mix & Silverstone (both gay bars), Puget Sound Pizza & Maxwells.

Up the hill around 9th and MLK you have 1022 South and Tempest Lounge which are both fun places with great drinks.

Down by the Tacoma Dome is the Frontier Lounge. Stopped by once on the way to a concert and it seemed like a fun place.

I believe all the places are open until 2am daily except Dorky's, Tempest and Maxwell's.

Other than that try out 6th Ave.
