Hi All, I'm relocating to work at the VA in American Lake and am trying to ID a rental place that does not have shared wall space with other apartment tenants in the immediate vicinity. I'm in my thirties and am a doctor -- so I need relative quiet / minimal partying during the week. I'm not yet ready to purchase a home or condo - still wanting to rent while I get my bearings on the area.

Any suggestions? I'd check Craig's list, but since I now live in another state, it's tough to scope those out.

I see Town Centre condos and Echelon apartments -- any experiences with these?

Suggestions are welcome!

Sorry you haven't had any answers--I'm looking for much the same thing for my daughter, a nurse at Madigan, who works nights. You might consider a townhome rental in Dupont; I have seen some on Craigslist. Good luck--and welcome to the area!

I would also recomend a townhome. Look for an end unit where the bedroom is on the end side.
Dupont should have several condos and townhomes to choose from, but rents there tend to be a bit higher than in Lakewood. Good luck!

Thank you both for the welcome and well wishes! Good idea about looking for an end unit. I see something that's a little far away in Sumner, but I really like the place. Looking forward to living in the Sea-Tac area!
