I'm a Southerner who has lived here since 1993, and I promise you, you do NOT want to take the ferry to the airport. Get in your car and drive over the bridge to Tacoma; give yourself plenty of time. Tony and Wanderlust are dead-on right about this, and you would do well to listen to them.

My initial reasoning, shoddy as it was, was based on the fact that cat22 would be going with the flow of rush-hour traffic in just about the whole commute.

Not a problem? Hwy 16 over the Narrows? Downtown Tacoma? NB I-5 from Fife up through Star Lake?

I suppose Tony's reasoning is sound, though. It's a bit over an hours' drive with no traffic. Add about 30-45 minutes to that for the traffic and it's still under 2 hours.

But hey, I never imply here on this board that I'm always right! ...it just sounds that way a lot of times.
