I live near Vancouver (but the Vancouver thread isn't very active) and some friends and I are looking for an especially beautiful resort or cabin (with a hot tub!
within a few hours' drive of Seattle or Vancouver, a place that makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but isn't too hard to get to. Near a body of water would be wonderful, hopefully near great food, maybe at Mt St Helens or Mt Rainier?
