The example that really slays me to this day, is the city of Vancouver, BC, which, in preparation for the Olympics there, years ago, demolished a section of town with "affordable housing" apartment buildings. They didn't relocate the occupants. Instead, they handed out tents for them, and changed the law prohibiting tents in city parks. Wasn't that generous of the city leaders? Unbelievable, but true.
