I suppose many of us would think you are nuts to think about moving here. Our cost of living is not that much lower than Hawaii, but what a difference in weather. This morning we had freezing fog and even light snow at 28F, and the high was 44. I suppose it was about 85 there?

Hmm, renting a mailbox is smart but what if an employer wants to do an interview a few days after or on the same day? I guess I would I would let the employer to give me a few day then I can fly up?
The employer won't want to do a same day interview. Tell him you're visting your Uncle Torvald in Minnesota and won't be back for a couple of days.

Of course it's going to be hard to leave Hawaii but I know for sure that Hawaii is always my home.

We only live once so, why not try it? I can always move back to Hawaii. Yeah, it's 85 all day everyday.
