Hey,
I'm relocating from MA. I'm looking for a nice safe area in Everett. I don't have kids so I'm not concerned about school systems etc. I'm looking for apartments to rent, but I'm not sure what areas I should be looking in.
Please help.

Thanks!!!!!

Many nice areas in Everett, especially along the waterfront. Harborview-Seahurst might be out of your money range, also no real apartments, but very nice.

Along Grand Avenue in Everett is very nice too. Downtown will have the most apartments to choose from, and it is becoming increasingly more urban. You will find higher end apartments, as well as affordable apartments in downtown. Crime is sometimes an issue for some people living downtown, but most likely, you won't be effected. Crime is dropping in Everett.

Avoid anything along Highway 99 and Evergreen. It isn't a desirable area, and is urban sprawl mess for miles, as well as the most crime in the city. The cheapest apartments can be found here.

Some of the big complexes on Casino Road may look nice but stay away from them.

Wouldn't be my choice. Can you get into Mukilteo or Lake Stevens?

Try for Mukilteo if you can-it's a wonderful city along the Puget Sound with great local restaurants and it has the rail service to Seattle now too. Lived there for 4 yrs and loved it!

I noticed a few nice yuppie-type apartment complexes downtown when I drove thru Everett during my recent Seattle vacation. Not sure if that's your thing, though.
