I will be moving to Everett soon, I am a military spouse, I was wondering what are some good places to look for housing? What colleges are near everett? And what are some websites I might be able to look for work ? I am a 25 year old African American, and I hope to meet alot of people there.

If you are interested in work at a public agency check the link below. Everett has a Community College, then there is Trinity Lutheran and Everest College. Other than that you pretty much have to drive to Seattle. Everett has it's good areas but also some with a lot of crime, so do adequate research. I have spent some time doing work in Everett and would not recommend the apartments that are on Casino Road, there were police going in and out of them all day.

Another good website that will list jobs other than city or municipality -type openings is:

Here's the current job listings for the Everett area (includes surrounding areas, i.e. Marysville, Lynnwood, etc.):
