Hi everyone! There is a possibilty we will be relocating to the Port Angeles/Sequim area for 3-4 years. We will probably rent since we are only there temporarily. My husband's job will actually be in Port Angeles, and I hope to attend Peninsula College. What areas should we look in? We are a couple in our 30s, no kids-just a dog, and we are relocating from sunny So. Fla. How tight is the rental market? Are there any good property management companies you can recommend? I'm a little nervous about this move; we're used to summer temps year round and a nightlife. It's going to be quite a change of pace! But from what I've seen online the Olympic Peninsula loks gorgeous, and I'm looking forward to experiencing everything the area has to offer. Thanks for any info you may have on the rental market, or just the area in general!

I'd suggest calling Action Property management - they handle many rentals. I have no interest in this company but have used them for property mgment and would recommend them highly.

Try these:
Sequim Rentals and Vacation Properties - Action Property Management management company for Sequim & PA rentals

Port Angeles Rentals and Property Management - Properties by Landmark Management property Company that rents in both Sequim and PA

Try the classifieds in these papers as well:

:: Peninsula Daily News :: Peninsula Daily News
Sequim Gazette - Home Sequim Gazette

Sequim would be a little "slow" if you are in your 30's and like the "nightlife". I would definitely head to Port Angeles. You will find people in your age range and more to do than Sequim.

Actually, if I were in my 30's and liked night life, I'd head to Seattle. There might be more clubbing in PA than Sequim, but not a LOT more.
