We used to do a lot of hiking and love the trails and views. However, DH is now very limited. He can't hike but still likes to see lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains - the things he used to hike for hours to see.

If we go to Mount Pilchuck State Park, would there be anything to see within a five-minute walk of parking?

Or what other places would you suggest? (Preferably in Snohomish, Skagit, or Whatcom County)

This place in Whatcom County would fit the bill:

Mt. Baker - Picture Lake Path

The Big Four picnic area up the Moutain Loop highway from Pilchuk is nice, especially this time of year.

This one is on the list now. We might go next year, when hopefully DH will be able to make the short hike to see the caves.
