Lifelong Louisiana resident thinking about move to Washington

I am originally from Texas and dream of moving to WA but military obligations are holding that dream at bay. I did have the blessing of visiting WA and saw Seattle, Bremerton, and Poulsbo. Seattle is nice if you are into the Urban scene but you sound like a more laid back kind of lady. I think Poulsbo would impress you. It is lovely and if you check this sit it will give you some great pictures. I loved Bremerton but only saw the area my friend lived in so I couldn't tell you more about that. I lived in LA for a time in my teens and I concur it is something else. lol I also lived in AK as a kid and it was amazing and much like WA except way more snow.
Might I ask, how are you going to find work? I hear certain parts of WA can be difficult to find employment. Is you daughter going to work and go to school? These are all important things to consider. I would add Olympia to you list if you are looking for quaint and beautiful. But these are all places I would consider. I am not really sure what your criteria is.
