Hello, I am a person who is looking to move from the SF Bay Area to the Sea-Tac area. The reason that I have been considering this move for a long time was because the bay area has really gone downhill in terms of jobs, cost of living, home prices and traffic.
While I grew up here my entire life and love to call it home, I think it's time for a new start (keep in mind im not one of "those" ultra-liberal Californians
). But the first time I visited the Sea-Tac area I fell in love with it, very clean, friendly people, no trash or graffiti, or homeless people laying in the street, or psychopaths beating up and screaming at parking meters (yes, I actually saw that
) and I have a lot of friends in the area as well. My question is, what counties are close to Sea-Tac have a good commute, and are located in a semi-rural area, but still close to the cities? (preferably not in volcano hotspots
) Not looking to buy a McMansion but a 3 bedroom house would suffice for and partner & I. I am looking at around the 2017-2018 time frame for which a job transfer would be possible for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While I grew up here my entire life and love to call it home, I think it's time for a new start (keep in mind im not one of "those" ultra-liberal Californians 
). But the first time I visited the Sea-Tac area I fell in love with it, very clean, friendly people, no trash or graffiti, or homeless people laying in the street, or psychopaths beating up and screaming at parking meters (yes, I actually saw that 
) and I have a lot of friends in the area as well. My question is, what counties are close to Sea-Tac have a good commute, and are located in a semi-rural area, but still close to the cities? (preferably not in volcano hotspots 
) Not looking to buy a McMansion but a 3 bedroom house would suffice for and partner & I. I am looking at around the 2017-2018 time frame for which a job transfer would be possible for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
