Check out the Felida area of northwest Vancouver. The area has a very high per capita income level and lots of professionals. It's 20 minutes to downtown Portland during off-commute times; close to hospital and medical care; close to parks and trails; minutes to the terrific downtown Vancouver farmers market; easy access to I-5. I live in the new Erickson Farms neighborhood and have two gay neighbors, who are well accepted (no one cares).
