Eastern Washington has lots of land to enjoy exploring around in. Looking forward to it.
The geology and terrain of eastern Washington has a lot to offer, especially for those with an affinity to the outdoors. I wish I would have explored more of it when I lived there. Hopefully my time will come again. Congratulations and good luck!

I am able to do that a lot! *especially as a 'retiree / PT contract worker'

It is really tough to be TORN away from home when you have a nice view. I seem to be able to just sit and enjoy the view for hours / days / weeks / months... (Rip Van Winkle)

This is a great regional group (many work from home / start home based businesses in the Columbia Gorge)
Welcome to the GTA - Gorge Technology Alliance

We have a lot of fun around here!
Gravity and foolishness, or a crazy spouse are not a good mix, that is for sure! Careful Bunny!

As for joining the Home Based workforce, it's nice to know about the GTA. One thing hubby does like about the office is a certain amount of interaction with his work mates. (although he'd still get plenty of that with his work, just not in person) It's nice to know there are other techies around who would likely also have similar interests.

Thanks for the encouragement, it's a long shot, but seems working from home is becoming more and more common. You are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place!
