Hello, we are moving to the Ellensburg area this summer. I am wanting to find out as much info as I can about the schools, town, people, real estate and weather. All the threads I have found on here are pretty old. I understand it's windy there and a college town. We are going to be looking to purchase a home on a few acres. Are there smaller towns around that area that are easy commutes? Any info you could give me would be great. I am just worried about the whole switching the kids school part of the move more than anything. We live in the Sookane area right now and love it!
