Hello,
Next week we will be buying and our list of 18 homes to choose from the newest home is built in 1986 so there will be a few things that needs to be done ...anyway we need a good general contractor that can do basic remodeling such as making 2 common wall bedrooms one, changing out old windows to energy efficient, changing doors, painting, building or upgrading a deck and things of that nature...we are willing to sacrifice the exact look we want for a more enegry efficient product and would need contractors that understand this, and since we will be at most a few blocks from the water we need info on contractors that understand what type of wood or other products that would be the longest lasting near the salt water....
Thanks
