Can anyone give me the lowdown on the various internet providers in Bellingham? We will be starting from scratch, with no TV, phone, or internet. Thanks for any help.a

Just moved to Bellingham and we ended up with Comcast... It was the only provider we could sign up with for the Internet speed we required. We looked into Frontier (priced higher for the speed we needed) and Pogo (they could not service the area we live in). If you have a child in school, Comcast does offer a greatly reduced Internet price, but the speed is incredibly slow.

We were not thrilled

Sorry... hit enter before I finished...

We were not thrilled going in with Comcast from the reviews we read, however, we have been pleased with the service and speed. We have always had Internet only in the past, but ended up with a Basic TV connection as well as we could not access any reception (i.e. news, PBS) with our indoor antennae. The package for TV and Internet was only $10 more per month vs Internet only, so we went with that. We're happy enough with what we receive, although we could do without a number of the TV stations that are provided. Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks, momma4evr
Can you tell me whether the modem was included in that monthly price - or I think I've seen online that it's another $10/month? Thanks!

You're welcome!

Yes, modem is another $10 or you can buy one. We've been happy with the service. Internet seems to stay fast and we have not lost a connection even with the high winds so far.
