The assessment includes teacher-to-student ratio, academic performance, teacher salary and percentage of new teachers, among several other factors. Parent-student surveys also played a major role.

The list will show that we have very fine public schools in our state, though this particular list isn't regionally diverse.

Looks to reflect mostly where the money is. There are six schools from eastern Washington in the second 25.
