Washington's high schools with the best teachers - seattlepi.com

Quote:
The assessment includes teacher-to-student ratio, academic performance, teacher salary and percentage of new teachers, among several other factors. Parent-student surveys also played a major role.

The list will show that we have very fine public schools in our state, though this particular list isn't regionally diverse.
1. International Community School, Kirkland
2. Interlake High School, Bellevue
3. Raisbeck Aviation High School, Tukwila
4. Bainbridge High School, Bainbridge Island
5. International School, Bellevue
6. Newport Senior High School, Bellevue
7. Roosevelt High School, Seattle
8. Issaquah High School, Issaquah
9. Bellevue High School, Bellevue
10. Garfield High School, Seattle
11. Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, Vancouver
12. Inglemoor High School, Kenmore
13. Eastlake High School, Sammamish
14. Woodinville High School, Woodinville
15. Redmond High School, Redmond
16. Ballard High School, Seattle
17. Mercer Island High School, Mercer Island
18. Kamiak High School, Mukilteo
19. Nathan Hale High School, Seattle
20. Skyline High School, Sammamish
21. Camas High School, Camas
22. Ingraham High School, Seattle
23. Newport High School, Newport
24. Liberty Senior High School, Issaquah
25. Central Kitsap High School, Silverdale

As to not being "regionally diverse":

24 of 25 are in western Washington
22 of 25 are in the Puget Sound Basin

19 of 25 are in King County
13 of 25 are on the Eastside
5 of 25 are in Seattle
4 of 25 are in Bellevue

Looks to reflect mostly where the money is. There are six schools from eastern Washington in the second 25.
